Mason Classical Academy Celebrates Grand Opening of New Vanderbilt Beach Road Campus

Mason Classical Academy celebrated the grand opening of its new Vanderbilt Campus on Friday, July 17, 2026, welcoming students, families, teachers and staff for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and their first opportunity to explore the completed school. Located at 7170 Vanderbilt Beach Road in Naples, the new 108,000-square-foot facility represents a major milestone for the academy and the North Naples community as it prepares for the 2026–2027 school year. Mason Classical Academy is a tuition-free public charter school that opened in Naples in 2014 to provide students with a college-preparatory education rooted in the classical tradition. Its curriculum emphasizes a cumulative foundation in literature, history, geography, mathematics, science, music and the visual arts, while encouraging the intellectual and personal habits needed to become responsible and independent members of the community. The new Vanderbilt Campus significantly expands Mason Classical Academy’s capacity for its lower and middle grades while placing those students closer to the academy’s Northbrooke high school campus.

Beyond expanding educational opportunities in Collier County, the new Mason Classical Academy campus will influence development and daily travel along Vanderbilt Beach Road. A new four-way traffic signal being installed at the campus entrance, along with a dedicated right-turn lane into the property, will provide controlled access for arriving and departing vehicles and reshape traffic patterns during morning drop-off and afternoon pickup periods. The school also opens shortly after the Vanderbilt Beach Road Extension began carrying traffic farther east toward Golden Gate Estates, reinforcing the corridor’s growing importance and demonstrating how major community developments can generate supporting transportation and infrastructure improvements throughout North Naples.
