CRE Highlight: Compstak

Today we would like to highlight a growing CRE software, CompStak.

CompStak was founded in 2011 by former NYC broker Michael Mandel to fix the inefficiencies of data sharing in the CRE industry. CompStak is the world’s first comprehensive database of commercial lease and sales comparable data. The CompStak research team collects and verifies actual, deal-level transaction records reported directly to CompStak by brokers, appraisers, and researchers on the ground. Data is then combined with critical property-level details, leaving the users with lease, sales, and property comps that are recent, accurate, and searchable.

Through CompStak Exchange, brokers, appraisers, and researchers are able to trade information about the deals in their markets for free. CompStak Enterprise enables lenders, landlords, and investors to access leases, sales, and market data on a subscription basis.

At TCG, Compstak is used to source detailed comps in markets all over the United States. Compstak is just one tool of many TCG uses to support our clients in our direct and efficient target marketing.
