Naples Design District wants your opinion!
Naples is reaching out to residents, property owners, and business owners to hear their opinions on what they envision for the future of its Design District. So far, the city has gotten input from roughly 1,500 people. However, the city does not deem that number satisfactory, the city is pushing for everyone to be heard. The interim manager for the city’s Community Redevelopment Agency, Jeffery Oris says “we have not come into this with any preconceived notion of what this area should be. We really are relying on that the public input to determine where the future is going.” The community’s input will help make decisions on everything from events to parking. If you would like to speak face to face with the designers who are working on the plans for the Design District, then head to The Collective beginning November 9th for a series of in-person public input meetings for the Design District hosted by the City of Naples.
