
Story Update: Collier Commissioners move from supporting to approving Town of Big Cypress Development
In a previous article on the Trinity website that can be read here, we explained how the Collier Planning Commission voted 6-0 in support of new series of developments, known as “The Town of Big Cypress”.
On Tuesday June 8th, Collier County commissioners took the final step of approving the new Longwater and Bellmar villages that will make up Big Cypress. It was settled with a 4-1 vote in approval of resolutions. The villages will combine with the already approved Rivergrass Village to begin development in a town that in the future will be home to approximately 11,000 people.
