Coming Soon: Kroger Deliveries To Southwest Florida
COMING SOON: KROGER DELIVERIES TO SOUTHWEST FLORIDA
Grocery shopping is something that we all do, perhaps even more than once a week. Throughout the past few years there has been a rising demand for online grocery shopping and delivery. According to Statista, an online database, the e-commerce shares of grocery retail grew to ten percent of total sales. Studies have shown that online grocery shopping is here to stay. Kroger Co. groceries could be available for delivery to Southwest Florida soon.
Kroger is a Cincinnati-based company and the nation’s largest supermarket chain. This past summer Kroger made its mark on Florida just west of the Orlando area with their launch of a 375,000-sf customer fulfillment center. Kroger’s delivery model for Southwest and South Florida will resemble that of Amazons grocery delivery method seeing as neither have brick and mortar storefronts in this area.
