Florida Highlight: Freedom Week Tax Holiday
This week we would like to highlight a newly minted Florida tax holiday. This holiday was signed into law by Governor Ron Desantis, beginning July 1st and ending July 7th. Freedom tax week looks to boost consumer growth through limiting sales tax on recreational equipment and activity. For instance, this includes general outdoors supplies, fishing supplies, boating and water activity supplies, camping supplies and sports equipment. Other than physical items, Florida also offers tax-free admissions to recreational activities. These include movies, music events, sporting events and many more outdoor and indoor activities.
