SW Florida’s Master Planned Communities
Recently, RCLCO pulled a statistical report of the top 50 top selling master planned communities in the country. Out of the top 50 Master planned communities, 15 of them are located in Florida. Of the 15, 4 of them are located in Southwest Florida. Lakewood Ranch, ranked 2 out of the 50, is located between Sarasota and Manatee county. From 2019 to 2020 they have seen a 30% increase in home sales. Wellen Park, ranked 4 out of the 50, is located in Venice. From 2019 to 2020 they have seen a 11% increase. Babcock Ranch, ranked 34 out of the 50, is located in Punta Gorda. From 2019 to 2020 they had a whooping 121% increase in home sales.
The specific MPC that we would like to highlight is Ave Maria, ranked 39 out of 50 and located near Naples and Immokalee. Ave Maria had a stunning 95% sales increase from 2019 to 2020. During this time, 506 new homes were purchased, making it the highest-ranking community in all of Collier County.
