Scott Mersinger

Scott Mersinger is Co-Lead of the Land and Development Team at Trinity Commercial Group, specializing in commercial land transactions across Southwest Florida. Over the past four years with TCG, Scott has facilitated complex transactions for private developers, public institutions, and nonprofit organizations, guiding projects through acquisition, land assembly, entitlements, and disposition. He works closely with residential and multifamily developers, municipalities, and school districts, bringing a collaborative, detail-oriented approach that prioritizes communication, ethical negotiation, and strategic solutions that align stakeholder interests and community impact.

A Venice native, Scott resides in his hometown with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two sons, Miles and Carter. His professional foundation was built in hospitality and operations. While attending the University of Central Florida, he was recruited to Wisconsin to help develop and stabilize an 80,000-square-foot indoor waterpark, ultimately serving as Director of Waterpark Operations. After returning to Venice, he acquired land, developed, and successfully operated two quick-service restaurants. During that time, he served on the National Advisory Council for the 1,000-unit franchise system, contributing to brand strategy and operational growth initiatives.

Scott’s entrepreneurial background, combined with firsthand experience in land acquisition and development, naturally led him to commercial real estate. Since joining TCG in 2022, he has focused on land brokerage, highest-and-best-use strategy, and development advisory services, helping clients create value while contributing to responsible growth across the region. He also serves on the advisory board of the Venice YMCA, reflecting his ongoing commitment to community engagement and long-term stewardship in Southwest Florida.
